Our Symposium Committee has worked very hard to bring you fantastic speakers, new exhibitors, and a professional program.  They look forward to seeing each of you at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City!

Program

The symposium program will include presentations from the Oklahoma Eating Disorders Association, the Regional Food Bank, and the Culinary Institute. Additional topics include bariatric nutrition, carb-counting/insulin management, and generational differences in the workforce. A complete program schedule is posted below, as well as information about the sessions and the presenters.

Handouts

Food Donation Campaign

Everyone who attends the 2011 ODA Fall Symposium is encouraged to participate in ODA's Food Donation Campaign to benefit the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.  Food and monetary donations are welcome.  For each $1 or food item donated, attendees will receive a raffle ticket and be entered to win a Blu-ray/DVD player from Mathis Brothers Furniture.

Registration

Registration fees include a complimentary breakfast and lunch.  However, registration must have been received by October 14, 2011 to guarantee a lunch.  An on-site cafeteria is available, if needed, for those who register after October 14th.

Early-bird registration is no longer available.  However, on-site registration is only $10 more than the early-bird pricing!

Directions

Mercy Health Center is located at 4300 W Memorial Road, Oklahoma City, OK 73120.  It is just off the Kilpatrick Turnpike on the south east corner of Memorial Rd. and Meridian Ave.  The symposium will be held in the Conference Center in the main hospital.

Parking

Mercy provides free valet parking from 7:30 am to 5 pm weekdays at the McAuley Entrance.  **Please note that there is an 80 car limit for valet parking.**  Student volunteers will be available inside the entrance to help direct everyone to the conference center. 

Additional parking is available at the Church of the Servant Parking Lot.  Mercy will provide door-to-door shuttle service directly from this parking lot to the hospital from 6:00 am to 1:00 am.  Shuttles will run continuously every 10-20 minutes.  If you choose to park here, please arrive early to assure you will be at the symposium on time.  The shuttle will take you to the Patience Admitting Entrance on the 1st floor.  When you enter through the doors, walk straight ahead and down the stairs to the lower level that leads to the conference center.  Student volunteers will be available to help direct everyone to the stairs and the elevator to the conference center.

Directions to Church of the Servant:  Church of the Servant is located at 14343 N. MacArthur Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73120.  When heading west on the Kilpatrick Turnpike or Memorial Road, take the exit for MacArthur Blvd. Turn right (north) on MacArthur Blvd.  Drive about 0.3 miles north (past Braum’s and the bank).  Church of the Servant will be on the left hand (west) side of the road.   (Gaillardia is across the street.)  The church lot is a very large parking lot.  Park in the back west side of the church parking lot as indicated in blue on the attached map.  There are blue signs that say “Mercy Parking”.  They will lead you to the back of the parking lot where the shuttle will pick up.
